About Bitsy Higgins

Bitsy is originally from Washington, DC where her family has been in real estate development for over a century. Her husband is from Fairfield, CT. They both attended Hamilton College and have lived in New York City, Bedford, NY and for the past 16 years Westport, CT.

Bitsy began her career as a television producer in New York. She changed careers after moving to Westchester County, managing multiple properties for a Hedge Fund Founder based in Bedford, NY, where she also owned horses and was active on the amateur horse show circuit.

Since moving to Westport in 2005, Bitsy has served on local non-profit boards and has developed strong relationships with community members and businesses through fundraising and awareness campaigns.

Having purchased two homes with her husband and numerous properties for her employer in Westchester, Bitsy's solution-oriented approach and experience in high pressure environments makes her well prepared to help others navigate the process of buying or selling a home. She is a highly organized, attentive listener who takes the time to understand the objectives of her clients.

Bitsy's professionalism, attention to detail, understanding of local communities and access to an abundance of resources as a member of Coldwell Banker's Westport office, the #1 Real Estate office in Westport, are the foundations of her career as a Realtor. • Board grew the organization from a 230 seat black box theatre to a full campus including addition of 600 capacity multi use venue with catering kitchen, teaching/rehearsal space and outdoor space.
